Explore my collection of original paintings that explores love, connection, and childhood through expressive compositions.

A Hallmark of my practice is the depiction of figures from behind, a perspective that places the viewer in the role of a parent quietly observing their child.

Emily Bowyer is a British artist who was raised near Brighton, recognised for her street-inspired take on contemporary art. She animates her painted objects with vivid colours, emotive patterns, and lively textures, guaranteeing that every piece delivers a striking impression.

Since becoming a mother, Emily's creations have been profoundly influenced by her affection for her children. Much of her recent artwork is devoted to portraying children and hearts, symbolising her enthusiasm for love in every possible form. Prior to this transition, she investigated abstract art and wildlife in her art. Her paintings often feature a girl and a boy, honoring her children and the profound bond she experiences as a mother.

Central to Emily's art is a straightforward yet impactful theme LOVE.

Vision

I’m Emily, a mum of two little ones, and everything I create comes straight from the heart.

My paintings are about love in its truest form, messy, joyful, fleeting, and unforgettable. Inspired by the world of children, the energy of street style, and the colours that make life brighter, each piece captures a moment you can feel as much as you can see.

Every brushstroke is personal, emotive, and original, made to connect, to spark joy, and to bring a pop of colour and meaning into your home.

Mission

My work celebrates love, childhood, and human connection through a bold, contemporary lens, infused with street art energy and a touch of mischief.

Inspired by the raw honesty of artists like Banksy, I create art that adds emotion, colour, and storytelling to the everyday, whether on a gallery wall or in the heart of someone’s home.

Combining vibrant pops of colour with urban textures, playful imagery, and recurring themes of innocence and affection, I aim to spark joy, nostalgia, and reflection.

Children often take centre stage in my pieces, symbols of unfiltered expression and pure connection, bringing a sense of hope and curiosity to modern life.

I believe art should disrupt in the softest way: to move you, surprise you, and make you feel something real.

My vision is to create work that adds not just visual impact, but emotional resonance, to homes, public spaces, and the people who live with it.
